• Matgo provides a digital marketplace connecting homeowners and property managers (“Users”) with service providers (“Providers”) offering home services such as landscaping, plumbing, and house cleaning. We act solely as an intermediary and do not directly provide these services.

 2. User Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use this Platform.
• By using our services, you represent that you have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account violating these Terms.

3. Account Registration & Security

• Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Unauthorized use of an account must be reported immediately.

4. Services Provided

• Our Platform facilitates connections between Users and Providers but does not guarantee the quality, legality, or availability of services.
• We do not employ or supervise Providers, and we are not responsible for their conduct or performance.

5. User Responsibilities

• Users must provide truthful information when booking services.
• Service requests and transactions must comply with local laws and regulations.
• Fraudulent or abusive behavior will result in account suspension or termination.

6. Payment Terms (If Applicable)

• If payments are processed through the Platform, Users agree to pay applicable fees.
• We may charge transaction or service fees, which will be disclosed before booking.
• Refunds, chargebacks, and disputes will be handled per our refund policy.

7. Service Provider Terms

• Providers must deliver services professionally and in compliance with applicable laws.
• We may charge listing or commission fees, which will be communicated in advance.
• Providers are responsible for securing any necessary permits, licenses, or insurance.

8.  Liability & Disclaimers

• We are not liable for any damages, injuries, or disputes arising from services booked through our Platform.
• Users assume all risks associated with hiring or providing services.
• Our Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

9.  Dispute Resolution

• Users and Providers are encouraged to resolve disputes independently.
• We may provide mediation services at our discretion but are not obligated to intervene.
• Any legal claims must be filed in accordance with Section 14 (Governing Law).

10.  Intellectual Property

• Our Platform, including its content, design, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.
• Users may not use our trademarks, logos, or copyrighted material without permission.
• Any content submitted by Users (e.g., reviews, photos) grants us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it.

11.  Privacy & Data Use

• Our Privacy Policy, incorporated by reference, outlines how we collect, use, and protect user data.
• Users consent to the collection and processing of their data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12.  Termination of Accounts

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.
• Users may deactivate their accounts at any time.

13.  Changes to Terms

• We may update these Terms from time to time.
• Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
• Users will be notified of significant changes through email or platform notifications.

14.  Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by the laws of Puerto Rico.
• Any legal disputes must be resolved in the courts of Puerto Rico.
